Overview

The Principal Research Analyst reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for leading teams to launch new research and manage existing research initiatives across multiple industries. To accomplish this, the Principal Research Analyst is responsible for identifying and building critical senior executive level relationships within the industry that enable OWI to spot trends before the market.

This position requires a combination of strategic planning, marketing execution, and cross-functional leadership. The Principal Research Analyst is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the collection, analysis, and delivery of OWI’s data and research. A passion for enabling financial inclusion is a big plus.

We’ll Ask you to:

  • Lead a team of research analysts to perform research and analysis across the identity industry, including coverage of technology, trends, companies, and geographic markets
  • Engage and maintain relationships with identity industry executives to identify their most pressing business challenges
  • Deliver in-depth research analysis including research reports, white papers, and client/project presentations
  • Speak at live, web-based, and teleconferenced industry events
  • Meet revenue goals set for your research team
  • Assist business development efforts as needed

You need to have:

  • A degree in a social science, economics, or business field
  • 10+ years research and analysis experience
  • Advanced understanding of the identity landscape. You can speak fluently to niche subcomponents or possess the ability to develop rapid proficiency / subject matter expertise
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to scope and manage multiple projects with meticulous detail in a deadline-driven environment

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver high-value reports. To accomplish this, the Sr. Research Analyst is responsible for identifying and building critical relationships within the industry that enable OWI to spot trends before the market.

We’ll ask you to:  

  • Work with the Principal Research Analyst to identify and conduct research and analysis across the identity industry, including coverage of technology, trends, companies, and geographic markets
  • Engage and maintain relationships with identity industry senior executives to identify their most pressing business challenges
  • Deliver in-depth research analysis including research reports, white papers, and client/project presentations

Overview

The CMO reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for all marketing, communications, web content development, and related strategies for a growth startup. The CMO ensures the company’s message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet aggressive sales objectives.

The primary responsibility of this role is to partner with our executive team to ensure growth through efficient and effective marketing & communication programs.

We’ll ask you to:

  • Develop high-level strategic decisions on growing our company and determining goals, roadmaps and budgets
  • Create innovative marketing strategies that will build our brand, leading to increased awareness, sales revenue, relevance and respect among our target audience
  • Create and produce inspiring design and content marketing campaigns and ensure that the brand is strong and consistent in every marketing tactic

You need to have:

  • Advanced degree in Marketing or Business (MBA) from a top tier university or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of well-rounded marketing or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on marketing expansion
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a team
  • Tremendous communication and leadership skills, with proven success in traditional and innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today’s marketing channels

  • Analyze and determine key insights from key business drivers, market trends and operating metrics.
  • Lead efforts on sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights.
  • Communicate initiative findings to leadership and to the broader organization by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways. Work with cross-functional, global teams to push projects forward, driving recommendations through to implementation.
  • Lead workstreams of 2-3 consultants and coach team members as needed.
  • Take responsibility for identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting data, and presenting findings to case team members.
  • Interview clients’ customers, competitors, suppliers and employers; this work then becomes the basis of the case team’s strategic recommendation.

You need to have:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or equivalent project management experience in a technology/media company
  • Experience participating in and setting engagement objectives and scope
  • Experience developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope
