User Generated Content: Maintaining Trust & Safety in Our Digital World
10/9/2020
Each day, there are billions of new posts across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. On Facebook alone, over three million posts are flagged daily for removal by users, human moderators, and screening tools. One of the critical questions that arises from the growth in UGC volume is how to moderate this content globally and at scale. Additionally, during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as more people find themselves at home and online, platforms have witnessed increasing strain on their content moderation systems.
